This is a redesign of an academic project where they ask us to do the graphic identity of a Japanese restaurant. Karai is located in Madrid and is specialised in sushi and ramen, offering an experience that mixes traditional with modern. To represent it, I’ve made some traditional Japanese mask illustrations with a modern and funny look. The logo is made with the geometric sans serif typeface Kotori Rose, that reinforces that modern look.
