It all began on the sandy beaches of the Outer Banks in Duck, North Carolina. There, Founder Russ DiGilio and his family would enjoy relaxing and fun vacations. But something was missing – there was no place to get that sweetstaple of happiness–a warm, fresh donut! So, they decided to create their own which led tothe first Duck Donuts opening in 2007. Now, you can enjoy the taste of the Outer Banks in your backyard by visiting one of our 100+ locations across the country!

HELLO, I’M OLLIE!
Ollie is the name of our fun and lovable donut “duckbassador.” You might have noticed him with his favorite donut in our logo, a freshly made vanilla cake donut with chocolate icing & rainbow sprinkles. He is proud of the fact that he’s been watching families customize their own donuts since the day Duck Donuts was founded in the Outer Banks of Duck, North Carolina where he was born. Ollie is a nod to our beach town roots that can be found through all our shops around the country (and world!). Ducklish sounds like nothing else because Duck Donuts TASTES like nothing else.
